With a working life of over 32 years combined in this industry, Co-Founders and sisters Yasmin Walter & Sheree Schonian will do everything to keep empowering those hopeful enough to never give up.
Previously known as Yasmin Promotions, Model Camp Australia has been operating progressively since 2007. What began as a humble promotional modelling agency in Perth has now developed into a national movement as a talent agency with an attached modelling academy.
Our grooming and deportment academy provides recognised modelling training that arms aspiring models with industry knowledge and a breath taking portfolio to secure that booking. Our primary focus is the original 10 week “Photographic Modelling” course, targeting models new to the industry needing a head start and also acts as direction to experienced models that want to further their portfolio. The innovative and exciting short course will not only be educational but a lot of fun while we help develop new practical skills. Participants will also produce flair in front of a moving camera for TV, Film and Commercial work or the added ability to strut down that runway. This course focuses strongly on building confidence and enhancing your image for an increased chance of winning work. Each intake of students will have a different experience in their term as we pride ourselves in staying current with industry trends and standards. We provide a safe and supportive community environment encouraging goal achievements that will gladly continue past the courses completion date.

The 10 week course focuses strongly on building your confidence. Whether you are tall or small, petite or curvy, there is room in the industry for you. We share tricks and secrets of the trade so you are armed with material to make the most with what you’ve got with our proven marketing and communication systems.
Indulge in the mixture of theory and hands-on practical activities that are both entertaining and challenging designed to increase your knowledge, skills and confidence beyond your day-to-day life. All students will also participate in weekly themed photo shoot’s. We have also added components of Film & TV to the curriculum for those wanting to dabble in the video motion modelling scene.
The agency format is divided into 3 subdivisions; Talent, Models and Promotional Brand Ambassadors. Talent will have the opportunity to put their acting skills to play in TV, Film, Commercial and Extra’s work. Models will be offered a platform to unearth a break in their niche market. Our main categories however include, but are not limited to; Asian, Bikini, Children, Commercial Faces, Fitness, Lingerie, Plus Size and Tattoo Models. Promotional Brand Ambassadors joyfully participate in small or big campaigns, branded activations, festival endorsements, in-store tastings, alcohol sampling, event flyer drops, corporate hosting heck they can even come to your hens or bucks party. With ties both nationally and internationally, funnelling work aboard is seamless. Our Talent, Models and Promotional Brand Ambassadors are based in Perth with the ability to travel. As we are still a modestly boutique company, we maintain our flexibility in meeting the different needs of every client whilst personally guiding our talent with their journeys in this industry.
